"MILEX-2007"

On May 22-25, 2007 the 4th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment "MILEX-2007" will be held in the exhibition pavilion of "BelExpo" (14 Pobediteley ave., Minsk, Belarus).
Heads of ministries of defence of CIS-countries, states of Asia, Africa and Latin America, representatives of military-diplomatic corps are invited to visit the exhibition.
Among the organisers of the exhibition are Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, State Military-Industrial Committee and "Beltechexport" Company.
The 3rd International scientific conference on military and technical Issues, defence and security issues and dual-use technologies will be held within frameworks of the exhibition.
More than 110 enterprises, design-engineering bureaus, scientific-research institutes, higher educational establishments and organisations from different countries approved their participation in the exhibition.
"Milex" is one of the largest and most significant exhibitions held in Belarus. This year the exhibition area will be larger than it was last time. During the exhibition the newest domestic developments in the field of modernisation of arms and military equipment will be represented. The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the samples of defense enterprises' production and enterprises which produce products of dual application; to create favorable conditions for making mutually beneficial contacts between manufacturers and consumers of the products of the defence industry; to promote contracts' making in the field of arms' modernisation, to popularize military equipment and to increase the prestige of the Belarusian army.
Previous exhibitions "MILEX" demonstrated a high level of organization of the events, a great interest to them. The forthcoming exhibition is planned to be more scaled, more comprehensive, significant and interesting.
